One Victim Seriously Injured in Pedestrian Collision near Central Avenue

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (February 18, 2025) – Friday evening, one person was hospitalized after a pedestrian accident on Girard Boulevard.

The Albuquerque Police Department responded to the scene around 5:30 p.m., near Central Avenue on January 31st.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the 2005 Ford F-150 exited a Walgreens parking lot and crashed into the 2003 Ford F-150.

The 2005 Ford then made a U-turn onto the westbound lanes, and hit a pedestrian.

Paramedics arrived and transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital for further treatment of serious injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.

No word was released on the condition of the victim, and the Albuquerque Police Department Motors Unit is handling further investigation. Once available, further details will be provided about the pedestrian accident on Girard Boulevard.
