Two Teenagers Pronounced Dead after ATV Collision near Cholla Street
PHOENIX, AZ (February 17, 2025) – Thursday, Nolan Allen Coffland and Hunter Allan Strode was killed in an ATV crash on 47th Avenue.
The incident happened near the intersection of 47th Avenue and Cholla Street on February 6th.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, an ATV was occupied by 16-year-old Coffland and 18-year-old Strode when it lost control and crashed into an embankment.
Emergency responders arrived and found Coffland and Strode suffering from life-threatening injuries. Due to the impact of the crash, Coffland succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Strode was transported to a hospital in critical condition where he passed away days later.
Moreover, police added that Coffland was a football player at Centennial High School. No other information was made public, and the crash remains under investigation.
