23-Year-Old Santa Clarita Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near Festividad Drive
SAUGUS, CA (February 17, 2025) – A pedestrian accident on Bouquet Canyon Road claimed the life of Nelson Vides, late Monday evening.
Authorities responded to the scene around 10:45 p.m., on Bouquet Canyon Road near Festividad Drive.
Based on eyewitness accounts, the victim was last seen leaving The Shot Exchange, a local bar in the area. Reports indicate that the man walked into traffic and was struck by two vehicles.
Despite the life-saving efforts of the paramedics, the man succumbed to his injuries. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified the deceased pedestrian as 23-year-old Vides, of Santa Clarita.
It was unclear if the two drivers involved in the incident remained at the site of the incident.
According to Deputy Robert Jensen, the pedestrian crash is not being investigated as a criminal case. The Los Angeles County Officials continue to investigate the fatal Bouquet Canyon Road pedestrian accident.
