23-Year-Old Rider Injured in Motorcycle vs SUV Collision near Avenida Los Ninos
CATHEDRAL CITY, CA (February 17, 2025) – Tuesday evening, Marco Torres was hospitalized after a motorcycle accident on Ramon Road.
Police responded to the collision around 5:30 p.m., at the intersection of Ramon Road and Avenida Los Ninos.
Upon arrival, officers learned that a westbound motorcycle collided with a Honda SUV. However, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Responding medical personnel transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. He was later identified as 23-year-old Torres of Desert Hot Springs.
Following the crash, the driver of the SUV stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Cathedral City Officials closed the intersection for at least two hours as the authorities conducted their investigation.
