19-Year-Old Driver Pronounced Dead after Truck Crash near Wheaton Street
CLOVIS, NM (February 17, 2025) – Thursday, a truck accident on 21st Street claimed the life of Francisco Miguel Perez.
The incident happened around 11:59 a.m., near Wheaton Street on February 6th.
According to the Clovis Police Department, authorities received a call where a Ford F-350 truck and a Nissan truck driven by Perez collided.
Upon impact, the driver of the Ford was trapped and crews made efforts to extricate him. Paramedics then transported the driver to Plains Regional Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
Moreover, 19-year-old Perez was thrown out of his truck and suffered life-threatening injuries which he succumbed to at the scene.
