14-Year-Old Student Injured in Pickup Vs. Scooter Collision near West Ranch High School
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA (February 13, 2025) – Tuesday morning, a teenager was hospitalized following a scooter accident on Valencia Boulevard.
Police officers responded to the scene around 8:50 a.m., in Stevenson Ranch near the West Ranch High School campus.
According to CHP, the driver of a white pickup-truck hit a 14-year-old student riding an electric scooter.
Responding emergency personnel transported the teenager to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the site of the collision and cooperated with authorities.
At this time, West Ranch High School did not release the identity of the injured student and Principal Robert Fisher is not available for comment.
Investigators do not suspect drugs or alcohol to be a factor in the collision. The CHP Newhall Area Office is currently investigating the scooter accident.
