Single-Vehicle Crash at Laurel Drive Left One Dead, Another Hospitalized

ROHNERT PARK, CA (February 13, 2025) – Monday evening, a solo-car collision on Petaluma Hill Road left one dead and another injured. 

The incident happened around 10:22 p.m., in the area of Petaluma Hill Road at Laurel Drive.

Investigators say the driver of a Chevrolet Corvette was traveling at a high rate of speed, causing the vehicle to lose control.

Upon arrival, officers learned that Corvette veered off the road and collided with a tree. 

Responding emergency personnel declared the male driver dead at the scene. The Sonoma County coroner’s office will release the identity of the deceased driver once available. 

Meanwhile, paramedics rushed the female passenger of the Corvette to a nearby hospital for further treatment of moderate injuries.
