Married Couple Pronounced Dead after 2-Car Collision near Cactus Road
PEORIA, AZ (February 13, 2025) – Wednesday morning, a pickup-truck crash on 87th Avenue killed Dale Kussrow and Marjorie Kussrow.
The incident happened just before 10:00 a.m., on 87th Avenue and Cactus Road on February 12th.
Reports state that 86-year-old Marjorie Kussrow was driving a Ford Focus sedan with her 90-year-old passenger, Dale Kussrow of Peoria.
As she turned left from westbound Cactus Road onto southbound 87th Avenue, an eastbound pickup struck her vehicle in the middle of the intersection.
The collision left the couple in serious condition, and emergency responders rushed them to a nearby hospital, where they later succumbed to their injuries.
Meanwhile, the pickup-truck driver remained unharmed but was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Officers believe speed and impairment contributed to the crash. They are actively investigating and will release more information about the crash on 87th Avenue and Cactus Road as it becomes available.
