18-Year Old Man Injured in Bicycle Collision near Kings Canyon Avenue

FRESNO, CA (February 13, 2025) – Thursday evening, a man was sent to a hospital following a bicycle accident on Clovis Avenue. 

The collision happened around 7:30 p.m., near Kings Canyon Avenue, just east of South Walling Avenue. 

Based on the CHP report, a witness claimed that a bicyclist ran past a red-light at the intersection. The man riding the bicycle then collided with a car which had the right of way. 

Responding medical personnel transported the 18-year-old male cyclist to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. 

Police said the driver was unharmed and remained at the scene to cooperate with the investigators. 

Fresno officials will release more information regarding the Clovis Avenue bicycle accident once available. At this time, an active investigation to determine further details is still currently underway.
