One Victim Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision near Lockwood Drive
HOUSTON, TX (February 13, 2025) – Thursday afternoon, one person was killed in a pedestrian crash on Interstate 10 Service Road.
Houston Police Officers responded to the scene around 2:40 p.m., at the 5200 block of I-10 near Lockwood Drive on January 30th.
Furthermore, the troopers arrived at the scene and found one pedestrian that was hit by a vehicle.
Paramedics quickly transported the victim to a nearby hospital for further treatment of serious injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, medics later pronounced the victim deceased.
Emergency crews shut down the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
Motorists were advised to use other routes while the authorities cleared the scene and conducted a thorough investigation. They also released no other updates to the public at this time.
