One Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Crash near Deer Valley Road

GLENDALE, AZ (February 12, 2025) – Late Sunday morning, one person was killed in a pedestrian collision on 59th Avenue.

According to the Glendale Police Department, the incident happened around 11:00 a.m., near Deer Valley Road on January 26th.

Emergency responders transported the victim to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Due to the extent of their condition, the victim later passed away.

Meanwhile, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. The victim’s identity has not yet been released as of this time.

Also, troopers blocked the area while they cleared the scene. Further investigation was handled by the Glendale Police Department. Once available, more details will be provided about the fatal pedestrian collision on 59th Avenue.
