19-Year-Old Woman Seriously Injured in 3-Vehicle Collision near Everglade

ODESSA, TX (February 11, 2025) – Thursday, Angel Meraz, Debra Harris and Febe Morales were hurt in a 3-vehicle crash on East 42nd Street.

The incident happened around 8:30 a.m., in the 1200 block of East 42nd Street near Everglade on January 23rd.

According to reports, the collision involved a black Ford Mustang driven by a 16-year-old male with 19-year-old Meraz as a passenger, a gray Toyota Tundra driven by 65-year-old Harris, and a silver Chevrolet Silverado driven by 58-year-old Morales.

Investigators say the Mustang was heading east while Harris and Morales were heading west.

For reasons under investigation, the Mustang lost traction and veered into the westbound lanes, colliding with Harris and Morales.

Moreover, Meraz suffered critical injuries while Harris, Morales, and the teenage driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Paramedics arrived and transported all injured victims to Medical Center Hospital for treatment of their injuries. No updates were released on the condition of Meraz, and the crash remains under investigation.
