70-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized after Vehicle Slams into Starbucks

KITSAP COUNTY, WA (February 6, 2025) – Friday, one woman was hurt after a vehicle crashed into a Starbucks on Silverdale Way Northwest.

The incident occurred at the Starbucks at the 10705 block of Silverdale Way Northwest around 12:30 p.m.

Investigators say a 70-year-old woman was inside the cafe when a vehicle driven by an 83-year-old woman crashed into the glass door. Per reports, the woman attempted to park her vehicle when she failed to brake on time.

The injured woman was evaluated at the scene, but she drove herself later that day.

Meanwhile, the Starbucks reopened after the crash. No additional information was added by the authorities, and the incident remains under investigation.

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
