1 Killed in Rear-End Collision on Bethel-Burley Road Southeast [Kitsap County, WA]
Motorcyclist Pronounced Dead after Rear-End Crash near Highway 16
KITSAP COUNTY, WA (February 5, 2025) – Wednesday night, one rider was killed in a rear-end collision on Bethel-Burley Road Southeast.
The incident happened on January 15th around 9:30 p.m., near Highway 16.
Police officers say the incident involved a 33-year-old rider and a vehicle. According to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office, a pickup-truck was backing out from a driveway when the southbound motorcyclist hit the back of the pickup-truck.
The South Kitsap Fire & Rescue responders arrived at the scene.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the rider dead at the scene. However, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.
No other information was added by authorities, and the Kitsap Interagency Traffic Team is handling further investigation. Once available, further details will be provided about the rear-end collision on Bethel-Burley Road Southeast.
