86-Year-Old Woman Dead SUV Vs. Pedestrian Collision near Kimball Drive
SAN JOSE, CA (February 4, 2025) – Early Wednesday morning, Florence Taylor was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident on Sherlock Drive.
The deadly collision happened around 6:34 a.m. in the area of Sherlock and Kimball Drive near Coyote Creek.
According to investigators, a northbound black 2004 GMC SUV hit a woman crossing the street at the intersection.
First responders transported the female pedestrian to a hospital where she died from her injuries.
The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office later identified the deceased victim as 86-year-old Florence Taylor.
Authorities reported that the driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the official. The report did not indicate that authorities had arrested the driver for the incident.
