Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Two-Vehicle Crash near 13th Street
IMPERIAL BEACH, CA (January 30, 2025) – Thursday morning, one rider was seriously injured in a motorcycle collision on Palm Avenue.
Authorities responded to the scene shortly after 8:00 a.m., at the 1300 block of Palm Avenue, near 13th Street.
According to the responding deputies, a car and a motorcycle collided for reasons under investigation.
The impact of the collision ejected the rider from their vehicle, leaving them face down on the roadway.
Medical personnel immediately transported the motorcycle rider to a hospital for treatment of major injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver of the car involved stayed at the site of the incident and cooperated with the investigators. The Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction (STAR) is leading the investigation.
