66-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision near California Street
BERKELEY, CA (January 30, 2025) – Elise Lusk was killed early Sunday afternoon, in a pedestrian accident on Ada Street.
Police officers responded to the scene shortly before 1:00 p.m., near California Street.
At this time, the events leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, reports indicate that crews located a woman trapped underneath a vehicle upon arrival.
Emergency personnel extricated the woman and transported her to a nearby hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Berkeley Officials later identified the deceased victim as 66-year-old Elise Lusk. The Berkeley Police Department Fatal Accident Investigation Team is currently leading the investigation.
Once the investigation has concluded, authorities will release more information about the Ada Street pedestrian crash.
