One Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Accident near Greenway Road
SURPRISE, AZ (January 29, 2025) – Sunday evening, one victim was killed in a pedestrian collision on Grand Avenue.
Surprise Police Officers responded to the scene around 6:30 p.m., near Greenway Road on January 19th.
Reports indicate that the driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian who was walking in an unmarked crosswalk in the area. Upon arrival, first responders located the victim with critical injuries.
Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene. Authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.
Moreover, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Police then blocked the highway while they cleared the scene.
