Woman Killed in Pickup-Truck Collision on Avenue 7 [Fresno, CA]

Fatality Reported after Pickup Vs. Car Crash near Avenue 7 ½
FRESNO, CA (January 28, 2025) – Late Wednesday morning, one woman was killed in a pickup-truck collision on Avenue 7.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene around 10:18 a.m., near Avenue 7 1/2.
Investigators say the driver of a westbound Nissan failed to stop at a posted stop sign at the intersection. As a result, the Nissan struck a Ford F-250 pickup-truck that was heading east on Avenue 7 1/2.
Responding CHP officers pronounced the driver of the Nissan dead at the scene. Fresno Officials only identified the deceased driver as a 40-year-old Winton woman.
Meanwhile, the driver of the F-250 remained unharmed from the incident. Authorities claimed that both drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
The California Highway Patrol will release more details surrounding the deadly Avenue 7 two-vehicle crash once available.
