Fatality Reported after 2-Car Accident on Interstate 10 East [Phoenix, AZ]
One Unidentified Victim Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision near Queen Creek Road
PHOENIX, AZ (January 28, 2025) – Saturday morning, one fatality was reported following a 2-car accident on Interstate 10 East.
The Phoenix Police Department responded to the eastbound lanes of the freeway near Queen Creek Road on January 18th.
Upon arrival, responding troopers located two vehicles that collided near the intersection. However, further circumstances leading up to the incident remain unclear.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medical personnel pronounced one occupant dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.
Towing services were also requested to remove the severely damaged vehicles from the scene.
Troopers blocked off the surrounding area on the highway while they cleared the scene. All lanes were reopened by 11:00 a.m. At this time, an active investigation to determine more information is still ongoing.
