38-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision near Fiji Way

MARINA DEL REY, CA (January 28, 2025) – Wednesday morning, Calvin Bauman was killed in a pedestrian crash on Lincoln Boulevard. 

Around 5:35 a.m., first responders arrived to the scene near the Culver Boulevard overpass and Fiji Way.

Los Angeles Police Officers say the driver of a northbound older model red Toyota Tacoma hit a pedestrian who was walking in an easterly direction. 

Responding paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department declared the victim dead at the scene. 

The LA County Department of Medical Examiner later identified the deceased man as 38-year-old Bauman.

At this time, the city is offering a reward of up to $50,000 to anyone who can lead the police to the arrest of the suspect. Those who witnessed the Lincoln Boulevard hit-and-run can call the detectives at 213-473-0234.
