19-Year-Old Man Killed in Tractor-Trailer Vs. Car Crash near South Redlands Avenue
PERRIS, CA (January 27, 2025) – Friday evening, Adrian Quiroz was fatally injured in a semi-truck collision on Ellis Avenue.
Authorities responded to the scene around 6:48 p.m., near South Redlands Avenue just east of Case Road.
According to police, the driver of an eastbound sedan lost control and collided with the back of a parked semi-truck. Responding paramedics transported the driver to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department later identified the deceased victim as 19-year-old Quiroz, of Perris. A GoFundMe page was created on behalf of the Quiroz family to help with memorial expenses.
Investigators say the uninjured truck driver was in his truck’s cab when the collision occurred.
