Man Killed, 4 Hurt in Fiery Collision on North 67th Avenue [Glendale, AZ]
Man Pronounced Dead after Fiery Two-Vehicle Crash near West Olive Avenue
GLENDALE, AZ (January 21, 2025) – Wednesday evening, one man was killed and four were hurt in a fiery collision on North 67th Avenue.
The Glendale Police Department received calls around 7:30 p.m., near Olive Avenue on December 18th.
Investigators say the driver of a stolen 2014 Honda Civic was traveling at high speeds with no headlights on.
The Honda eventually collided with a 2013 Toyota Highlander at the intersection, causing one of the vehicles to catch fire.
Officers say the Toyota was driven by a 49-year-old woman with two children passengers. Paramedics arrived and transported all occupants to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced the suspect driver deceased.
In addition, authorities found guns inside the stolen vehicles, and reports said that there was a robbery where the car was stolen. No other information was released, and the fiery collision on North 67th Avenue remains under active investigation.
