Dirt Bike Rider Killed in Fatal Collision near Country Club Cove Drive
BAYTOWN, TX (January 20, 2025) – Monday afternoon, a teenager was killed in a dirt-bike crash on Bush Road.
According to the Baytown Police Department, the incident happened around 1:45 p.m., near Country Club Cove Drive on December 23rd.
Troopers stated that a dirt bike operated by a teenager and a vehicle were involved in the collision. However, further circumstances leading up to the incident remain unclear.
Emergency responders arrived and found the dirt bike rider with no signs of life. They quickly transported the rider to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The northbound area was blocked on Bush Road and West Baker for three hours while the crews cleared the scene. All lanes have been reopened since, and further investigation is still ongoing.
