One Woman Pronounced Dead after Fatal Collision near Eden Drive
LONGVIEW, TX (January 20, 2025) – Thursday morning, one woman was fatally struck in a pedestrian crash on Eastman Road.
Longview Police Department officers responded around 8:00 a.m., at the 2000 block of North Eastman Road near Eden Drive on December 26th.
Investigation showed that the driver of a blue truck hit the victim on the roadway. Officers say the woman failed to yield the right of way at the time.
Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced the female pedestrian dead at the scene. Her identity was not yet released by police.
Emergency crews shut down the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
