69-Year-Old Driver Pronounced Dead after Wrong-Way Collision near Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport

FORT WORTH, TX (January 16, 2025) – Friday morning, Steven Glenn Miller was killed in a wrong-way crash on State Highway 183.

Around 10:45 a.m., police officers responded to the scene near the south entrance of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport on January 3rd.

For reasons under investigation, Miller was driving his sedan the wrong-way when he struck an oncoming pickup-truck, driven by a woman.

Emergency crews extricated the female driver of the pickup-truck before it became engulfed in flames. Paramedics quickly transported her to a nearby hospital for further treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, medics pronounced 69-year-old Miller deceased at the scene.

At this time, it was unknown why Miller drove the wrong way and further investigation is currently active.
