One Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian vs Car Collision near North Ramona Boulevard
SAN JACINTO, CA (January 16, 2025) – Thursday evening, one man was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident on State Street.
First responders arrived to the scene around 6:12 p.m., just south of North Ramona Boulevard, near Ramona Produce.
Based on the initial investigation, a pedestrian standing on the side of the street fell into the roadway for reasons unknown.
Police claimed that drugs or alcohol may have contributed to the incident. However, the circumstances that led up to the incident remain under investigation.
Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene. Riverside County Officials will release the identity of the deceased victim once available.
Following the collision, the driver remained at the site and cooperated with investigators.
San Jacinto Officials are asking those who witnessed the fatal State Street pedestrian crash to call the Sheriff’s Station at (951) 654-2702.
