Man and Woman Pronounced Dead after Semi-Truck Accident near Road 256
TULARE COUNTY, CA (January 16, 2025) – Friday morning, a big-rig collision on Avenue 95 claimed the life of Adelina Flores and Felipe Reyes.
Authorities responded to the scene shortly after 8:30 a.m., near Road 256 and Terra Bella.
According to the police report, a green semi-truck collided with a Honda sedan that was pulling out of the stop-sign.
Investigators claimed the Honda went into the big rig’s path, causing the truck to hit the side of the sedan.
Responding emergency personnel pronounced the female driver dead at the scene. Meanwhile, medics took her male passenger to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Police said the driver of the big-rig sustained minor injuries from the collision.
Officials later identified the deceased victims as 54-year-old Flores, of Lindsay and 55-year-old Reyes, of Washington State.
