21-Year-Old Rider Pronounced Dead after 2-Vehicle Crash near Texas A&M University-San Antonio Campus
SAN ANTONIO, TX (January 14, 2025) – Friday afternoon, Caleb Carter was killed in a motorcycle accident on South Zarzamora Street.
First responders arrived to the 10200 block of South Zarzamora Street near the Texas A&M University-San Antonio campus around 3:00 p.m., on December 27th.
According to reports, 21-year-old Carter was riding his Yamaha motorcycle in the northbound lanes, swerving in and out of traffic.
Meanwhile, a blue 2020 Ford Explorer was making a turn into an apartment complex and Carter crashed into the Ford.
As a result, Carter was ejected from his motorcycle and suffered life-threatening injuries which he later succumbed to and passed away.
Moreover, the Ford driver did not sustain any injuries. Law enforcement has not yet revealed any further details about the crash; however, they will provide more information once available.
