Speeding Driver Dies After Colliding with Another Vehicle near Whitman Drive
ALLEN, TX (January 9, 2025) – Early Sunday morning, Taranjeet Singh was killed in a high-speed collision on East Bethany Drive.
Allen Police Officers responded to the scene around 12:15 a.m., near Whitman Drive on December 29th.
Investigators say Singh was driving a Dodge Challenger east on Bethany Drive at high rates of speed. The Dodge eventually crashed into a Honda CR-V, causing the Dodge to lose control and overturn.
Upon arrival, first responders located the Dodge in a nearby creek. Firefighters located Singh still inside the vehicle with no signs of life.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced Singh dead at the scene.
Moreover, the other involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Further investigation is still ongoing, and witnesses are encouraged to contact the Allen Police Department at 214-509-4200.
