41-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Accident on Hunters Pond
SAN ANTONIO, TX (January 9, 2025) – Monday morning, a pedestrian crash on Loop 410 claimed the life of Michael James McMunn.
Around 6:00 a.m., dispatchers received calls near Hunters Pond on December 30th.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, McMunn crossed the highway in an unmarked crosswalk. There, the driver of an SUV struck McMunn and immediately stopped to call 911.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics eventually pronounced 41-year-old McMunn deceased.
At this time, it was unknown why McMunn was in the roadway, and further investigation is still underway. Anyone with further additional information is asked to contact authorities as soon as possible.
