Motorcyclist Killed in Semi-Truck Collision on Clinton Drive [Houston, TX]
Rider Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle vs 18-Wheeler Crash near Federal Road
HOUSTON, TX (January 8, 2025) – Early Tuesday morning, one motorcyclist was killed in a semi-truck collision on Clinton Drive.
Authorities responded to the 12555 block of Clinton Drive near Federal Road around 7:00 a.m., on December 3rd.
Investigators determined that the rider of a black Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling in the eastbound lanes behind the 18-wheeler.
The motorcyclist then attempted to overtake the semi-truck, and ended up colliding with the truck as it attempted to turn right.
Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Although, police officers have not yet released their name or place of residency.
Meanwhile, the truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with troopers. Police later released the truck driver, and motorists were advised to avoid the area while they cleared the scene.
Further investigation into the fatal semi-truck collision on Clinton Drive is still underway. Once available, more details will be provided.
