46-Year-Old Suspect Arrested after Three-Vehicle Collision near Sava Street

SAN ANTONIO, TX (January 7, 2025) – Friday, Leslie Dominguez, Yareli Dominguez, and Juan Sifuentes died in a hit-and-run on Roosevelt Avenue.

On November 22nd, around 4:50 a.m., police responded to the scene near Sava Street following a three-vehicle collision.

Troopers say a vehicle driven by a 46-year-old man was traveling at high speeds. It then rear-ended another car occupied by 25-year-old Leslie, 22-year-old Yareli, and 61-year-old Juan.

Furthermore, the impact of the initial collision sent the second vehicle into the oncoming lanes where it was hit by a third vehicle.

Leslie Dominguez, Yareli Dominguez, and Sifuentes died at the scene.

Meanwhile, a 56-year-old passenger from the third vehicle sustained injuries and paramedics transported them to the hospital.

Investigators say the suspect driver fled the scene by foot. However, police were able to locate and arrest him. Authorities charged him with hit-and-run resulting in death.
