35-Year-Old Man Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Collision near Thomas Road

PHOENIX, AZ (January 7, 2025) – Friday evening, a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on 16th Street claimed the life of Ethan Jaaziel Felix.

Authorities responded to the scene around 7:30 p.m., near Thomas Road on December 27th.

The Phoenix Police Department says the driver of an unidentified vehicle struck Felix as he was walking along the area.

Upon impact, the suspect fled the scene without rendering aid or contacting authorities.

Medical personnel arrived and took 35-year-old Felix to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Following preliminary duties, police officers say the driver intentionally hit the victim. At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
