31-Year-Old Good Samaritan Dies in High-Speed Accident near Division Street

ARLINGTON, TX (January 6, 2025) – Early Saturday morning, a high-speed collision on North Watson Road claimed the life of Tyler White.

Authorities responded to the scene around 1:00 a.m., at the 300 block of North Watson Road near Division Street on December 14th.

Preliminary investigation showed that a 2016 Hyundai Veloster driven by a 42-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle.

As a result, the Hyundai struck two pedestrians along North Watson Road.

Shortly after, White stopped his 2004 GMC Yukon and activated his hazard light to assist the woman and the pedestrians.

While White was assisting, a BMW X1 driven by a 34-year-old woman traveling at high speeds struck them.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported White, the Hyundai driver, and the BMW driver to a hospital in critical condition.

Due to the extent of his condition, medics later pronounced 31-year-old White dead at the hospital.

Officials have not provided any additional information. However, more information will be provided once available.

Our deepest condolences and sympathies are with the family and friends of Tyler White.
