60-Year-Old Panorama City Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash near Reseda Boulevard
RESEDA, CA (January 2, 2025) – Friday evening, a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on West Saticoy Street killed Javier Rueda Madrigal.
Authorities responded to the scene around 9:40 p.m., near Reseda Boulevard at the 18600 block of West Saticoy Street.
Investigators say the driver of an eastbound vehicle struck a pedestrian who was walking in a south direction. Upon impact, the driver fled the scene without rendering aid or contacting police.
Responding emergency personnel declared the male pedestrian dead at the scene. The Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner later identified the deceased victim as 60-year-old Madrigal, of Panorama City.
At this time, officers have not provided any additional information about the suspect or the suspect’s vehicle. The LAPD is asking those who witnessed the hit-and-run collision to call them at 1-877-527-3247.
