Elisabeth Barker Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Royal Lane [Cedar Park, TX]

88-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Collision on Lonestar Drive

CEDAR PARK, TX (January 2, 2025) – Monday evening, a pedestrian accident on Royal Lane claimed the life of Elisabeth Barker.

The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m., near Lonestar Drive on December 16th.

Investigators say 88-year-old Barker was walking along a dark area of the roadway. There, the driver of a southbound pickup-truck struck the female pedestrian.

Eventually, Barker succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following preliminary duties, police determined that the driver was not able to see Barker due to the dark lighting in the area. In addition, crews say she was wearing dark clothing.

No additional information was added by the authorities, and the Cedar Park’s Highway Enforcement Unit is handling further investigation.
