One Killed in Fiery Three-Vehicle Collision on South Dairy Ashford Road

HOUSTON, TX (January 2, 2025) – Early Wednesday morning, one person was pronounced dead after a 2-car accident on Westheimer Road.

Dispatchers received calls around 5:00 a.m., near South Dairy Ashford Road on December 11th.

The Houston Police Department located a blue Mazda, a white Ford, and a gray Ford Fusion upon arrival.

Investigators say the Mazda and Ford driver were heading north on Dairy Ashford Road and crossed the intersection at Westheimer on a green light. There, the Fusion was traveling at high speeds and failed to stop at the stop sign, resulting in a collision.

Consequently, the Fusion ended up slamming into a building and bursting into flames. Due to the impact of the crash, the driver succumbed to their injuries at the scene.

Meanwhile, the two other involved drivers sustained minor injuries.

No further details about the crash have been made public at this time; however, more information will be released once available.
