One Occupant Pronounced Dead after 2-Car Accident near Airport Road

PULLMAN, WA (December 24, 2024) – Tuesday afternoon, one fatality was reported following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 270.

Authorities responded to the scene around 3:00 p.m., near Airport Road on December 3rd.

According to the Washington State Patrol, a vehicle traveling on Garrison Road was making a turn onto the westbound lanes.

There, the driver of another eastbound vehicle struck the car as it was turning.

Due to the impact of the crash, medical personnel declared one person dead at the scene. Authorities have not identified the victim as of this time.

Furthermore, troopers blocked the eastbound lanes for five hours.

Following preliminary duties, failure to yield the right-of-way was the cause of the collision. Once available, more details will be provided about the deadly two-vehicle collision on Highway 270.
