29-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies in Two-Vehicle Collision near 8th Avenue West
SEATTLE, WA (December 23, 2024) – Friday afternoon, one rider was pronounced dead after a motorcycle accident on West Nickerson Street.
The Washington Police Department received calls around 3:00 p.m., near 8th Avenue West on December 6th.
Investigators say the rider of a motorcycle was heading west and crashed into a vehicle near the intersection.
Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.
Meanwhile, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with troopers. Police say that impairment was not suspected as a factor and no charges were filed.
Emergency personnel shut down the surrounding roadway for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
Law enforcement has not disclosed any further details about the crash to the public at this time; however, they will do so once more information about the fatal motorcycle accident on West Nickerson Street is obtainable.
