One Dead, Another Driver Injured in Two-Car Collision near Don Tomaso Drive
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 19, 2024) – A 2-car accident on Don Lorenzo Drive killed one driver and left another hurt, Sunday afternoon.
Authorities responded to the scene around 4:09 p.m., at the 4600 block of West Don Lorenzo Drive near Don Tomaso Drive.
The Los Angeles Police Department says a southbound vehicle on Don Lorenzo Drive collided a car that was heading west through Stocker Street.
Investigators say the southbound car was attempting to turn onto eastbound Stocker Street at the time.
Responding firefighters extricated a trapped male passenger inside one of the vehicles. Paramedics transported the man and another passenger from another car to a local hospital with critical injuries.
Despite life-saving efforts, one of the patients later succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.
Both drivers from the two cars were uninjured from the crash. The LAPD will provide more information about the fatal 2-car accident on Don Lorenzo Drive once available.
