One Pronounced Dead after Big-Rig Crash near Elaine Drive
WYLIE, TX (December 18, 2024) – Wednesday morning, one driver was fatally injured in a semi-truck collision on Parker Road.
Police officers responded to the scene around 6:40 a.m., near Elaine Drive on December 4th.
For reasons under investigation, a black Jetta Volkswagen and an 18-wheeler semi-truck collided, trapping the Jetta underneath the trailer.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the Jetta driver dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.
At this time, it was unknown how the collision occurred, and further investigation is still ongoing.
