34-Year-Old Rider Dies in T-Bone Accident near Deer Valley Road
PHOENIX, AZ (December 17, 2024) – Sunday afternoon, Braiden Lawson was killed in a motorcycle collision on 7th Street.
Authorities responded to the scene around 2:45 p.m., near Deer Valley Road on December 8th.
According to the Phoenix Police Officers, 34-year-old Lawson was riding a motorcycle at high speeds and entered the intersection at a red light.
As a result, a black Chevrolet Malibu that was attempting to turn left onto eastbound Deer Valley Road T-boned Lawson.
Emergency responders arrived and treated Lawson and the Chevy driver. Paramedics immediately transported Lawson to a nearby hospital in critical state.
Due to the extent of his condition, medics pronounced Lawson dead at the hospital.
At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
