CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA (December 17, 2024) – Late Friday night, Rene Bucaro was fatally struck in a reckless collision on Balfour Road.
Dispatchers received calls around 11:56 p.m., near Bixler Road on December 7th.

The guard booth was occupied by Bucaro and another guard, and they failed to react and get out in time.
