20-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Skateboard Collision near 73rd Drive

PEORIA, AZ (December 12, 2024) – Late Friday afternoon, Dylan Bartlett was pronounced dead after a skateboard vs truck crash on 73rd Avenue.

Authorities responded to the scene near Terramar Boulevard around 4:30 p.m., on November 15th.

According to reports, the driver of a 2019 Dodge Ram pickup-truck was traveling south on Terramar Boulevard when Bartlett, who was on a skateboard, failed to stop while crossing the intersection on 73rd Avenue.

Paramedics arrived and quickly transported 20-year-old Bartlett to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, the truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. At this time, officers do not believe that impairment or speed were factors in the crash.
