77-Year-Old Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash near Euclid Avenue

LOS ANGELES, CA (December 10, 2024) – Thursday evening, Jose Francisco Trevizo was killed in a high-speed collision on East 4th Street.

First responders arrived to the scene around 9:00 p.m., at the 3066 block of East 4th Street near Euclid Avenue and South Fresno Street.

Based on the initial investigation, a black Mercedez-Benz collided head-on with a Honda sedan that was attempting to make a left turn. 

Medics arrived and pronounced the Honda driver dead at the scene. The Los Angeles Officials later identified the deceased driver as 77-year-old Trevizo. 

Meanwhile, paramedics rushed the two teens inside the Mercedes to a hospital where they remain in critical condition.

It was unclear whether the Mercedes driver was arrested. However, witnesses pointed out that the Mercedes was traveling at a high rate of speed when the crash occurred. 

At this time, the Los Angeles Police Department continues to investigate the incident.
