Frank Padilla Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on West Terra Bella Street [Los Angeles, CA]
57-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision near Woodman Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 5, 2024) – Wednesday evening, Frank Padilla was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on West Terra Bella Street.
Police officers responded to the 1400 block of West Terra Bella Street near Woodman Avenue around 9:20 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers learned that a westbound white Dodge Charger was traveling at a high rate of speed and struck a pedestrian.
According to the LAPD, the man was attempting to cross Terra Bella Street at Dorrington Avenue outside of a marked crosswalk.
Following the collision, the Dodge driver fled westbound on Terra Bella Street without rendering aid to the victim.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, responding EMTs declared the person dead at the scene. The LAPD only identified the deceased victim as a 57-year-old man.
At this time, authorities have not released any additional information about the suspect or the suspect’s vehicle.
