1 Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision on Highway 16 [Yolo County, CA]
One Pronounced Dead after 2-Car Accident near County Road 18
YOLO COUNTY, CA (December 5, 2024) – Wednesday morning, one victim was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 16.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene around 10:15 p.m., near County Road 18.
At this time, the events leading up to the crash remain unclear. However, reports indicate that two vehicles collided in the area.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced one victim dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.
Emergency crews closed off the westbound lanes of Highway 16 as crews cleared the scene.
