SANTA CRUZ, CA (December 4, 2024) – Todd Carter was arrested Tuesday afternoon, and his passenger was hurt in a DUI crash on Seabright Avenue.
Police officers responded to the scene around 2:00 p.m., near Windham Street.
For reasons under investigation, the driver of a car accelerated into a nearby tree causing serious injuries to both occupants.
Responding paramedics rushed both patients to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Authorities later arrested the driver, identified as Todd Carter for felony DUI, according to the Santa Cruz police spokesperson.
