Nicholas Griego Fatally Struck in Motorcycle Collision on Cathedral Canyon Drive [Cathedral City, CA]
Community Service Officer Declared Dead after Two-Vehicle Crash near East Palm Canyon Drive
CATHEDRAL CITY, CA (December 4, 2024) – Thursday morning, Nicholas Griego was killed in a motorcycle collision on Cathedral Canyon Drive.
Dispatchers received calls around 11:50 a.m., near East Palm Canyon Drive.
For reasons under investigation, a motorcycle and a pickup-truck collided in the area. Upon arrival, first responders located the rider down on the ground with life-threatening injuries.
Due to the extent of his condition, medics pronounced the male motorcyclist dead at the scene. Authorities later identified the victim as 31-year-old Griego, of Palm Desert.
Griego served as a Community Services Officer for the Palm Springs Police Department, and will be deeply missed by his community.
